Hudson Headwaters Pharmacy Services team will be attending and exhibiting at the upcoming 11th Annual 340B Coalition Winter Conference in San Francisco, CA, from February 4-6 2015. Jim Donnelly, VP of Hudson Headwaters’ Pharmacy Services team has been invited to speak.
More than ever it is critical that 340B participants stay informed about new regulatory, legislative, and legal developments. The Winter Conference will address hot topics including: the new Congress and what it means for the 340B program, HRSA auditing and other compliance matters, and innovative ways safety-net providers are using 340B savings to achieve their mission.
Pre-conference workshops are also available and will offer in-depth information covering the basics of the 340B program, compliance, communications, and advocacy. Hudson Headwaters’ Jim Donnelly will speak at one of these sessions: Making a 340B Compliance Plan Work for HRSA Grantees. Jim’s presentation will focus on the unique requirements and responsibilities of Federal 330 grantees participating in the 340B program. Implementing best practices to ensure program compliance and integrity will be paramount to the discussion. The Hudson Headwaters Pharmacy Services staff will also be in attendance to discuss Hudson Headwaters’ opinions and recommendations about the anticipated increase in program scrutiny, potential policy changes, and the importance of audit preparation.
