The inaugural ATRIA 340B Forum was held Thursday, May 17th, through Friday, May 18th at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid, NY. The much-anticipated event brought together many of ATRIA 340B’s current third-party administration and consulting clients. Guests enjoyed using the beauty of the Adirondacks as the back drop for thoughtful discussion about the 340B program administration.

Attendees from near and far enjoyed drinks, hors-d’oeuvres, and networking at the cocktail reception on Thursday night. The Forum opened Friday morning with a warm welcome by Jim Donnelly, Vice President of 340B Pharmacy Services.  During his opening remarks, Jim introduced the ATRIA 340B staff and thanked attendees, speakers, and sponsors for their continued support.

Sessions were held throughout the day and sparked insightful discussions between attendees and speakers. Speakers, including Chris Hatwig, Sue Veer, and Felicity Homstead, addressed some of the most significant issues in the 340B realm. Topics of discussion included HRSA audits, the current 340B environment, and use of 340B savings. Bringing a thought-provoking day to a close, Dr. Tucker Slingerland, CEO of Hudson Headwaters Health Network, discussed the importance of innovation in healthcare in his keynote address.

The ATRIA 340B team is proud of the success of its first client event and looks forward to hosting future events to bring together covered entities in support of protecting the integrity of the 340B program.
