The ATRIA 340B team, represented by Kim Barron and Jim Donnelly, attended the 2018 National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum in Washington, DC, held March 14th–17th. This forum, held annually, invites health center advocates from diverse backgrounds to come together, discuss current issues, and have the chance to meet with members of Congress.
ATRIA 340B was a proud corporate partner at the NACHC P&I forum and enjoyed presenting at the Expo on Friday, March 16th. Attendees at the Expo ranged from 340B vendors, wholesalers, auditors, software vendors, and representatives from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We were excited to exhibit with our new booth display, including a video demonstration of our innovative client portal, which will make its debut to our clients later this spring.
While exhibiting at the Expo, we engaged in discussions with health center board members and executives to discuss compliance, HRSA audit preparation, and our third party administrator services. Other topics of conversation included the 340B program Senate hearing that took place on Thursday, March 15 (find our breakdown of the hearing here), the future of 340B, and how health centers can play a role in protecting the program.
Our team members greatly enjoyed meeting and learning from our fellow health center advocates, and we look forward to attending additional NACHC conferences throughout the rest of the year. We hope to see you there!
