April is shaping up to be a busy month for the Hudson Headwaters 340B team as they head to two conferences in the coming weeks. The team is excited to support regional primary care organizations as a sponsor and exhibitor of events that benefit the education and development of the healthcare safety net. Below is an overview of where Hudson Headwaters 340B team members will be this month:
April 11-13 – NWRPCA Western Forum for Migrant and Community Health
The Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (NWRPCA) is hosting their Annual Western Forum for Migrant and Community Health from April 11-13 in Portland, OR. “The Western Forum for Migrant and Community Health is an annual conference bringing together health professionals from migrant and community health centers and allied organizations for the purposes of education and training, information and resource sharing, coalition building, and program and policy development.”
The 2022 Western Forum theme is, “Adelante: Building Resilience & Strength for a Healthy & Just Recovery.” The theme recognizes the journey, the work, the innovation, and sacrifices made by frontline colleagues, communities, and partners. The event will feature Commissioner Carmen Rubio and Lalo Alcarez as the opening and closing plenary keynote speakers, respectively. The event will also feature entertainment by the Aztec Dance group, Danza Azteca.
Hudson Headwaters 340B is proud to be a conference sponsor at the Supporter Level and looks forward to networking with fellow community partners. Steph Willis (Marketing Specialist) and Josh Buser (Data Analytics Lead) are excited to head to Portland next week and educate attendees about building compliant and optimized 340B programs.
April 19-20 – OACHC 2022 Annual Conference
The Ohio Association of Community Health Centers (OACHC) Annual Conference will take place from April 19-20, 2022 in Columbus, OH. “Healthcare professionals from around Ohio will attend this conference to learn, interact, network, and address today’s toughest challenges in community health care. The goal of OACHC is to unite with a common goal to create high quality affordable health care for all Ohioans.” The event will kick off with an opening keynote address by Maureen Corcoran from The Ohio Department of Medicaid before heading into two days of sessions.
Hudson Headwaters 340B is proud to be a Gold Corporate Sponsor of the OACHC events for 2022. Jim Donnelly (President) and Alex Homkey (Business Development Specialist) are thrilled to make the trip to Ohio to engage with attendees on all things 340B.
